Chandrea & Evan’s Romantic Vintage Elopement

“ I just want to personally thank you for bringing my wedding day together. Everything was so beautiful and perfect. It was such a pleasure working with you. Everything was perfect from the venue, the decor, to the weather. Your vision was perfect." - Chandrea

We could not be more obsessed with Chandrea and Evan’s elopement at The B Suite Event Venue. This couple had initially planned to hold their elopement at an outdoor venue however inclement weather was forecasted leaving them strapped for time to find a new venue and elopement wedding planner at the last minute. The bride had secured the services of Lavish Cakes for her cake, Lauren Eidson Photo for her photography and she knew she wanted a silk floral bouquet.

While we never had the opportunity to meet prior to the elopement we were able to pull it all together through phone calls and emails. Chandrea knew she wanted something simply romantic, soft and vintage, and that was exactly what we provided.

Now if only the weather stuck to our plan! Unfortunately it didn't and we had to change our venue setup to include several vignettes indoor so that the couple would still be able to have options for their photographs. The venue was also draped in white chiffon to create the illusion of a more intimate elopement space. We also brought in an antique settee covered in blush dupioni fabric and hung rose gold wire shaped hearts on the wall accentuated with florals. Gold ceramic vases were framed by gold photo frames and willed with soft pink garden roses and lush greenery against the brick wall with an array of cylinder vases with floating candles on the floor around the ceremony site.

The couple used a gold and ivory throne chair staged on one side of the room for photos. The bookcases were adorned with rose gold votives and bud vases with white and soft pink florals and greenery. The cake table adorned a blush sequin linen with draped with a bush chiffon linen and the sweetest little cake plate and flatware.

Even with Mother Nature refusing to cooperate the day turned out wonderfully.

When Chandrea and Evan arrived with their photographer and officiant at the venue, the weather had changed, the sun was out and it turned out to be a gorgeous day.

Chandrea emerged in a long stunning ivory lace gown which accented her curves and Evan wore a dapper blue suit. The officiant delivered a lovely intimate ceremony and the bride and groom were truly overjoyed. It really was a special day for a special couple.

Chandrea and Evan - We cannot thank you both enough for letting us play a small part in your big day.
