These two beautiful souls, Latristia and Frederick, made an excellent decision to elope and to tie the knot at The B Suite. They were looking for an intimate elopement venue space and found us in the heart of the historic downtown district of Douglasville.
The bride had a vision that she described as simple elegance with a hint of romance, and the color theme was blush and burgundy with accents of gold. The couple wanted to a wooden cross as their alter adorned with beautiful florals. The look was heavenly decorated with florals to match the bridal bouquet and candles at the base added an extra element of romance.
Latristia was a stunning bride; she wore a gorgeous strapless wedding gown with detailed beading and a long veil. The groom Frederick was so handsome in his burgundy-colored suit and smart bow tie. We love the bride's natural bouquet of soft pink and white roses with lots of greenery. Together they looked a picture of total gorgeousness.
Latristia and Frederick's love story began with their meeting at church in Tennessee. He was the band drummer, and she was a member of the congregation, and they caught each other's eye. Then a friend playing matchmaker introduced them, but Latristia wasn't really looking for love at that stage of her life - or so she thought. Frederick was sure she was the one and pursued her for six months before Latristia was finally ready to open her heart. We love the fact that Frederick gifted a Keurig coffee machine when he asked her to be his girlfriend. Latristia was falling for her future husband and said, "love was brewing."
That was the start of their beautiful love story, and three years later, Frederick proposed on Folly Beach in Charleston during the couple's anniversary getaway weekend. The adventurous couple, who love bowling, hiking, cycling, food, and travel, complement each other perfectly. The groom, a professional drummer, describes himself as laid back (and we feel he's a bit of a romantic.) The bride, a true Southern girl, says she is extroverted and fun, and we can confirm wholeheartedly that she is precisely that.
The wedding ceremony was filled with lovely moments, and we were so pleased to have witnessed such love. The couple exchanged wedding rings with gold and diamonds for Latristia and wood and black titanium for Frederick. Sealed with a kiss, the couple were announced as man and wife.
You can see by their wedding photos the joy on their faces the entire day. The couple had the cutest mini photoshoot, stylish denim jacket embroidered with Mrs. Wilkerson on the back - what an excellent bridal keepsake, and not to mention the cute bicycle.
